Getting Started

This documentation explains how Dream Code Factory delivers the Fractional Platform Team. The marketing site makes the case for why — this is the technical companion that shows how: the platform we build for you, and the way we operate it once it’s live.

  • Technical founders & CTOs evaluating or already onboarded — so you can see exactly what we stand up, with no black boxes. Transparency is part of the product.
  • Engineers (ours and yours) who need a reference for the architecture and the operating model.

We name concrete tools throughout (Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, the Grafana stack, and so on). Treat them as our representative default stack — the proven baseline we reach for. We adapt to what already works in your environment; the cloud and your existing CI provider are chosen during the audit.

The documentation has two halves, bracketed by the two phases that come before you go live:

  1. The Audit — the Day-5 Platform Audit & Scorecard, where every engagement begins.
  2. The Onboarding Process — the 14-Day Launch that builds the platform and hands you the assets.
  3. The Platform — the what: the layered architecture we instantiate, from infrastructure up through CI/CD and observability.
  4. The Operation — the how: 24/7 operations, incident ownership, and how we stay in touch.

Everything in these docs maps onto a single, simple path:

Step 0 Step 1 Step 2
The Audit → The 14-Day Launch → Operate
(scorecard) (build + cutover) (run it, 24/7)
└── The Platform ──────────────┘
(instantiated here, (operated here)
owned by you)
  • Step 0 — The Audit is a risk-free diagnostic. Free for founding clients, and credited toward the Launch if you proceed.
  • Step 1 — The 14-Day Launch is the one-time onboarding: we build the platform in parallel with your live product, then cut over to live operations.
  • Step 2 — Operate is the ongoing monthly retainer: we run the platform 24/7.

The Platform is instantiated in Step 1 and owned by you — the Infrastructure-as-Code, documentation, and dashboards are yours to keep. The Operation is what Step 2 buys.

If you want the technical picture, start with The Platform. If you want to understand the engagement itself, start with The Audit.
